THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tim's Tavern Restaurant Review:

Yes, there’s a menu with sandwiches, soups and salads, but it seems everyone comes to this friendly dive for the char-grilled burgers. They’re hand-formed, big and cheap---$4.75 with bacon and cheese---which is why Tim’s is packed at lunch and in the early evening. A place where cops, artists, musicians, serious drinkers and neighborhood Guppies all congregate, this dining and drinking DMZ, while it’s been discovered, is still full of real, Boston flavor. The beer is cheap and the jukebox leans heavily towards old soul like Al Green and George Clinton-type funk.
