THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tin Fish Restaurant Review:
Tin Fish is a bona fide culinary asset to suburban dining. Colin Turner and Curtis Wierbicki know restaurants and how to put together an exciting menu of design-your-own seafood delights. The spacious dining room (with a bar up front) is noisy but nice; head for the oyster bar if you need a break from the crowd. Otherwise, start your meal with a pile of the seriously addictive blue cheese-topped potato chips or spicy tuna tartare. When choosing your preparation, it pays to go straight across the list. We especially like the Lake Superior whitefish, cornmeal-crusted and served on a mound of sherry-saturated vegetables and mashed potatoes, though anything with lemon-butter sauce will treat you right. Service is efficient.
