Located above the Fish Market, Top of Market has been in operation since 1982. Begin by ordering the oysters, Dungeness crab cocktail or the yellowfin tuna “crudo” made with avocado, citrus, espelette pepper and pistachios. Entrées range from spicy scallops and Dungeness crab linguini with a spicy tomato-fennel-olive sauce to grilled Alaskan halibut with slow braised cannellini beans with tomato, squash purée, pancetta and arugula. Top of the Market also has a sister restaurant in San Diego.
