Topo's location in a nondescript strip mall doesn't do justice to its cozy, inviting interior. Earth tones of russet and gold warm the spacious restaurant. Overhead, draped strings of light bulbs are vaguely reminiscent of outdoor piazza dining; a polished wood and mirrored bar dominates the main dining room. The menu includes both New York and Chicago deep dish-style pizzas as well as a large selection of pastas. Do you prefer marinara with that pasta dish? Perhaps the creamy pesto sauce? Or a slice of blackened salmon? The kitchen will customize any pasta preparation on its menu at your request. The lunchtime buffet is a great value and includes several varieties of pizza, pasta, vegetables, meats, salad and warm bread.
