Tortilla Coast’s Logan Circle location showcases the Mexican cooking of a Texas native who knows how to assemble enchiladas, create an unusual nacho platter without the customary beans and melted cheese (but with crema, corn tortilla pieces and vegetables), and blend a starter bowl of melted cheese with spicy chopped chorizo. Freshly made guacamole is a specialty, crafted with flavorful ripe avocados. For those who like to socialize, the restaurant’s happy hours are abuzz with loads of chatter and margaritas. And the weekend brunch has its own fans --- expect some Tex-Mex delights, such as chilaquiles and Mexican french toast.
