It’s not as good as its famed parent restaurant, the Brooklyn pizzeria (where the pizzas have been emerging piping hot from coal-fired ovens for over 80 years), but this Upper East Side spinoff is certainly tonier, with a full bar and outdoor dining. The pizzas, pastas and salads are all made fresh---some standouts include the fried calamari, the mozzarella caprese, the arugula, tomato and Gorgonzola salad, the pasta primavera and the classic margherita pizza.
