Trapezaria Mediterranian Kuzina Restaurant Review

: Rockville’s Trapezaria offers traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine that far surpasses the typical salad with pita and stuffed grape leaves. For example, patrons should order the mashed fava bean spread with pita triangles, and the melitzanosalata, a purée of mildly garlicky eggplant that is spoon-ready. At lunchtime when you may want lighter fare, you can enjoy gyros of beef and lamb or the souvlaki with a choice of chicken, pork or sausages. But for heartier appetites at lunch or dinner, head to the traditional entrées, from delicate moussaka and pastichio to arni psito (boneless leg of lamb). Broiled entrées include a choice of various fish and meat cuts. Galaktoboureko is a layering of semolina custard between sheets of crispy phyllo, yielding a creamy yet crunchy mouthful with each bite. Check out the extensive Greek wine list, too.
