THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Trianon Restaurant Review:
This popular and intimate retreat in the midst of suburbia plays host to many of the Silicon Forest computer companies, whether its a power lunch for two or a holiday party for 200. The menu offers meat and seafood entrées prepared with a twist. The 14-ounce applewood smoked pork chop is served with sweet potato and plantain mash, Baraccho pina rum glace and a tropical fruit gremolada. A seafood sauté of lobster, scallops and prawns is tossed in a jalapeño-mustard cream with vegetables and ginger rice. There are many international influences, yet there is plenty of good old American food as well, such as classic oysters Rockefeller and a New York strip steak. It's possible to create a nice meal out of small plates here. Why not be adventurous? The kitchen here certainly is.
