Co-founded by the drummer of the heavy metal band Korn, this Huntington Beach restaurant has a definite nightclub vibe, complete with rock memorabilia on the walls and the occasional celebrity as your neighbor. The menu includes such starters as rock shrimp guacamole with wonton chips and Cajun albacore cigars, which lead to main courses that range from a sashimi platter to chicken teriyaki to teppan grill specialties. The sushi bar offers all the classic rolls, as well as a few signature ones like the tomodachi hand roll of spicy tuna, avocado, cilantro and jalapeño. The teppanyaki chefs dazzle diners in this unique culinary experience with precise knife-flashing moves that are worthy of applause.
