Turkiss Restaurant Review:

This Turkish take-out eatery on MacDougal Street has only two tables, but even if you have to stand while you eat, the food is worth it. The menu offers red lentil soup, grilled meatballs (kofte) and chicken skewers, but the real reason to come to Turkiss is for the lamb doner. Stuffed in a pita with lettuce and tomato, the thinly sliced lamb is ultra juicy and nearly addictive.
