Situated in the heart of downtown, Tuscany's wide open windows offer great people-watching or, if desired, one may be seated in the more intimate setting deeper inside the restaurant. With the feel of a warm and comfortable villa, service is sincere and accommodating. Light fare ranges from pizza from the stone oven or a classic fritto misto of seafood that has a surprising addition of green beans and artichoke hearts. Consider sharing the insalata verde with butter lettuce, sliced pears, toasted walnuts and Gorgonzola. All the pastas are made fresh daily and rolled to a fine thinness, never showing too much weight. An in-house fire pit provides free-range chickens, and giant steaks may be prepared bistecca-style.
