Uncle Uber's Sammich Shop Restaurant Review:

This mom-and-pop shop keeps it simple with a dozen sandwiches, a couple of burgers and salads, a full bar and house-made desserts. The grilled chicken sandwich, a total snoozefest elsewhere, shouldn't be missed at Uber's, where the poultry is juicy and charred from the grill, perched on a soft, buttery bun with super-fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles and tangy "Uber sauce" (we highly recommend gilding the lily and adding avocado, too). Another standout is the shaved rib-eye served on a soft baguette with chunks of pungent, melting blue cheese and caramelized onions. Burgers are finger-licking good; deceptively thin patties drip with meaty juices and can be dressed up to your liking with toppings like grilled jalapeños, bacon, goat cheese and more. Don't miss the skin-on, hand-cut fries adorned with a zesty house seasoning.
