The University Club Restaurant Review:
This members-only club caters to current and retired Arizona State University faculty, staff, alumni and student parents, but can be reserved by public patrons for private parties with catering. Set in a vintage 1908 former science hall, the big brick structure feels like an Ivy League retreat, complete with dark wood, a sweeping staircase, patio and fountain. The casual daily menu features hefty burgers, salads (the Asian chicken or chopped chicken are standouts) and first-rate deli sandwiches. A few rotating hot entrées, such as ravioli, or grilled enchiladas with black bean salad, round out the menu.
