TIDAL+ has stylish, contemporary décor, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the city setting and reflect the intention of the menu. Executive chef Greg Lopez sources ingredients across Washington and throughout the Pacific Northwest from farmers who are dedicated to sustainable agriculture. The frequently changing menu includes fish and shellfish native to the region. Salads range from spiced roasted beets with blue cheese and pistachios to grilled peaches with arugula and almonds. Small plates may feature clams steamed with basil, bacon, jalapeño peppers and mint, or a crab cake accented with herbs and tomato chutney. Entrée favorites are the hanger steak paired with Dijon shallot sauce and crab-stuffed rainbow trout. Side dishes include a dynamite crab mac 'n’ cheese, gnocchi in nutty brown butter, roasted carrots and creamed spinach. The list of Northwest wines is pricey but well-chosen. For a sweet finish, indulge in the warm cherry crisp. Service is friendly and knowledgeable.
