THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Valhalla Table Restaurant Review:

While the name Valhalla Table evokes Norse mythology, this fast-casual restaurant, run by the Indonesian-born Karnaga sisters, is more modern than mythological. Located inside Costa Mesa’s The Camp, Valhalla Table is a gastropub, with house-made sausages and artisanal beers. The stark interior is quite welcoming with its warm woods, chrome accents and giant family-style table that runs down the middle of this lively spot. Don’t miss the Belgian-style fries, which are fried twice with the skin intact and then seasoned. We also recommend the grilled sausage sandwiches (the traditional bratwurst is good, but we enjoy the Korean barbecue and wild boar Balinese flavors best), as the bread has notable crispy texture. There are also two vegetarian “sausages” and a gado gado salad with fried tofu. Desserts are fresh and flavorful because they come from the sisters’ Layer Cake Bakery in Irvine.
