THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Vermont Kitchen & Bar Restaurant Review:

Vermont’s dining room combines a sultry Moorish décor with modern sensibilities, resulting in a candlelit space that's hip, dark and romantic. A sexy, modern bar nicely complements the restaurant. The clientele is an enjoyable mix of button-down business types, old-time Los Feliz locals and artistic Eastsiders. The moderately priced food, overseen by executive chef Stephane Beaucamp, is always solid here, which explains much of the attraction. Dinner appetizers may include Maine lobster and crab cakes with avocado, papaya and lime aïoli, or heirloom tomatoes and burrata with white balsamic vinaigrette. Entrées might range from an herb-crusted beef tenderloin, chanterelle mushrooms, fingerling potatoes and a shallot caper jus, to barbecued lamb skewers or adobo rubbed ahi with cilantro coleslaw and chipotle rouille. The wine list is short but offers some interesting picks at very reasonable prices.
