THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Vesuvio Cafe Restaurant Review:
Blink and you’ll miss this Italian spot, which is steps from Morton’s in the Westbrook Corporate Center. Dark and intimate, this is a red-checked tablecloth sort of joint, and the menu follows suit. We liked the spicy Buffalo wing pizza with crispy crust and the artichoke-spinach dip. Things get dicey when it comes to entrées: the veal chop may be chewy and overcooked---not to mention an investment at nearly $30. A bar scene, live entertainment and a hefty martini list help round things out.
