Via Vai Restaurant Review:

For two decades, Via Vai has faithfully turned out Italian dishes for a hungry Montecito crowd. Choose an outdoor table, enjoy the view of the foothills and lunch on one of 15 different savory pizzas from the wood-burning oven. Service is frequently slow, but the setting counterbalances long wait times. For dinner, try the lamb chops or clay pot of spaghetti with fish and shellfish, which is covered with pizza crust and baked in the wood oven. There are daily risotto specials and fresh pastas, too. All desserts, including the signature tiramisu, are made on-site. The house Merlot and Pinot Grigio, served in ceramic pitchers, are winners.
