Wings West is a veritable oasis for sports fans on the Hartford-West Hartford border. With plenty of room both indoors and out on its patio, the place is jammed with pool tables as well as enough 42” flat-panel LCD and projection-screen TVs to ensure that every seat is a good seat. Though the long bar’s the centerpiece, lined with some 40 taps, the kitchen manages to turn out some mighty flavorful wings---our favorites are the garlic-and-pepper, the honey-habanero and the searing five-alarm---along with a good buffalo chicken sandwich, which comes with crispy skin-on fries.
