Westside Natural Foods has grown into a full-fledged health store with a knockout selection of fresh, healthy, organic and vegetarian grinds. There’s a terrific salad bar with an array of delicious homemade dressings, a hot bar with daily specials, like vegetarian lasagna and vegan enchiladas, a deli, juice bar and healthy sweets. After tasting their tahini tofu salad sandwich we’ll never go back to egg salad again. For the best lunch selection, get there before noon. You can choose to sit inside in the air conditioning or out on the few tables with benches.
