THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The White Tiger Restaurant Review: We love the Capitol Hill location, which has about it an air of the Raj, a kind of Indian mystique with its hushed service, elegant tableware and outstanding Indian cooking. Every dish, from the luscious freshly baked breads (the Kashmiri naan is outstanding) to the curries (especially the lamb vindaloo), shines on its own. The total effect is a memorable meal. The Virginia branch of the restaurant has not transplanted to the suburbs so easily and can’t compete with its downtown cousin, at least not yet. So if you want top Indian food, head to Capitol Hill.
