A little slice of Chicago comes to the Upper East Side in this chic and casually upscale eatery. At Wicker Park you’ll find a homey mahogany bar, mosaic-tile floor and stamped-tin ceilings. The kitchen produces classic bar food with a contemporary twist. We recommend the rigatoni and sweet Italian sausage drenched in vodka sauce and melted mozzarella; the equally impressive salmon with pearl couscous, oven roasted tomatoes and lemon oil; and a lovely bistro-style hangar steak served with hand-cut fries, spinach and herbed butter.
