The Wren Restaurant Review:

This Bowery gastropub is the spawn of Wilfie & Nell, an Irish-inflected restaurant and bar in the West Village that’s mostly known for its singles scene. In some ways, The Wren is no different, as young people of all stripes cram the rustic space sipping pints of beer and cocktails. But come for the food and you won’t leave unsatisfied. The burger, made with Pat LaFrieda beef, is one of the better versions you’ll find in the area. An order of the shishito peppers and hot beef jerky is sure to spice up any date, and the bacon jam toast adds longevity to an evening of quaffing drinks like the Wren-Quila blending habanero-infused tequila, grenadine, lime and pink peppercorns.
