THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Yima Restaurant Review:
This family-run Moroccan tearoom has a pleasantly coloured cosy downstairs lounge with comfortable cushions to recall warm Moroccan hospitality. The small upstairs room looks more like an average sandwich shop, except for the red fez lampshades and food counter offering North African delicacies. All the classic Moroccan dishes are available on the short, but varied menu: spicy harira soup (£2.95), Zaalouk salad with aubergines (£2.80), bstilla (chicken baked in almonds and cinnamon pie, £6.90), tagine either with lamb or chicken (£6.50) or vegetables (£5.50). A good dessert is seffae (sweet couscous with cinnamon and nuts). All this should be washed down with a pot of strong, refreshing mint tea. Yima serves a special vegetarian lunch for £5 and has takeaway.
