THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED YumDiggity Restaurant Review:
Ed Hanger and brothers Carson and Jonathan Young joined forces to open YumDiggity. The Youngs operate the popular Yumbii food trucks that visit various food truck parks throughout the week, and this is the first of their permanent store sites. Hot dogs, brats and chicken-based sausages populate the menu; the dogs come from Patak, a company founded decades ago by an immigrant family from Eastern Europe. While we like the hot dog, the German bratwurst really rates. Overflowing in its bun, its skin pops when bitten, showing the natural casing. Add some grilled onions, spicy mustard and maybe a bit of sauerkraut and you're in brat heaven. Whatever your choice, complement it with the sweet potato fries. The spicy but not hot all-meat chili, topped with shredded cheese and onions, is another great side. There's a fresh strawberry lemonade, but it's a bit sweet for this fare. No desserts or alcohol are available.
