THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Z Square Restaurant Review:

Really two eateries in one, this double-decker does the vaguely intriguing contemporary thing---a little global pizzazz here, a little retro comfort there---from morning to midnight. On the ground floor, a café menu of breakfast items, soups, salads, sandwiches and crêpes is offered all day long in a casual setting. On the basement level, a handsomer, but no less comfy, experience awaits, with a menu that expands upon the theme upstairs. Here, coconut shrimp tostones meet turkey meatloaf and paella juxtaposes a German-style sausage platter. Granted, it's mostly nothing we can't get prepared with a little more care elsewhere, but the nearly-24-hour access is an advantage, as is a full bar lest we want a shot of eye-opening whiskey to wash down our steel-cut oats.
