Zak's Restaurant Review:

Zak’s rests on the shore of Lantau Island’s Discovery Bay, offering spectacular waterfront views from the restaurant’s 5,000-square-foot quasi-tropical outdoor terrace, lower deck and upstairs lounge all facing the South China Sea. The restaurant’s East meets West vibe carries over to the family-friendly food with dishes like Malaysian griddle bread with mango and banana curry sauce, a generous portion of Turkish flatbread with hummus, taramasalata and kalamata olives, a classic surf ‘n’ turf or chicken saltimbocca. Some foodies hop the ferry from Hong Kong Island just for the corn tortilla chips piled high with mozzarella, jalapeños, homemade guacamole, sour cream and spicy salsa --- indulgent diners add imported lobster. Others come for the nightly fireworks at nearby Disneyland, visible here as they explode over the water and best enjoyed with a side of banoffee pie.
