Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a striking view of the Cincinnati skyline and Ohio River. But the scenery isn’t all that keeps diners happy at this Covington restaurant in the RiverCenter Marriott. Creative entrées can make choosing difficult, so sampling is a good idea. The Kentucky bourbon chicken is a fave: winged, pan-seared chicken breast soaked in a bourbon-citrus marinade, served with cheddar-garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini and carrots, and finished with peach and jalapeño preserves. Just as spirited, the blackened salmon is placed atop red beans and rice and accompanied by tasso-mushroom ragoût and béarnaise sauce. A friendly staff delivers attentive service without hovering or making diners feel it is time to move on. Take your time and enjoy the view.
