Zocalo Restaurant Review

: Loud and lively, this trendy midtown eatery is a good choice for a fun night (or day) out with friends. Whether for weekend brunch, midweek lunch or late-night dinner, Zocalo promises an upscale meal with a party vibe. Starters include the expected nachos and quesadillas, as well as beef empanadas and potato flautas. Mains present enchiladas and tacos alongside more ambitious dishes such as grilled hanger steak with mushrooms, onions and jalapeƱos; smoked pork with achiote; and salmon mole. Traditional desserts such as tres leches, flan and pan-fried plantains with brown sugar and cinnamon are also available. Weekend mornings, enjoy chorizo con huevos, chilaquiles or a Mexican breakfast burrito.
