Transformed from a small Mexican establishment, this space finds a role in Decatur’s late-night neighborhood pub scene. Bringing to this venue the generously portioned New York Italian fare that it launched in its original location, Zucca in Decatur replicates the menu, with pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. The foundation of this group of restaurants is homemade tomato sauce, which even appears on the “Italian burger.” It comes with mushrooms and mozzarella cheese atop a quite good burger.
