WINE NEWS:

Oneglass Single-Pour Wine Packaging

The newest eco-friendly wine packaging

Oneglass single-pour packaging

Forget the corkscrew — all you need is a glass. The Italian manufacturer Oneglass Wine's unit-dose wine packaging is the newest way to enjoy wine on-the-go. Geared towards a younger and more environmentally-conscious audience, the single-pour packaging allows consumers to enjoy a glass without wasting the rest of the bottle.

The package, delivered in the shape of a cut-out bottle, contains a single pour of 100ml, which can be accessed by a tear-away top. Interestingly, the multi-layer packaging does not affect the taste or quality of the wine. Made of polylaminate (20 percent) and paper (75 percent), it is practical, lightweight and environmentally friendly; simply flatten and recycle it after you're done. The video below shows the packaging in action.

Oneglass Wine currently offers single-pour packages of Pinot Grigio, Vermentino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. For more information, visit Oneglass' website at www.oneglass.it.
