Barnard Griffin 2013 Rose of SangioveseTop 10 Summer Wines 2014ROSÉ When husband-and-wife Rob Griffin and Deborah Barnard first started making their namesake wines in 1983, production was limited to 400 cases. Today, Barnard Griffin produces 11,200 cases of its 2013 Rosé of Sangiovese alone. Such phenomenal growth, however, has not reduced overall quality. A dry, refreshing rosé, the 2013 offers strawberry, cranberry and apple flavors and a lively acidity.
