The Hobbit Motel

If you're into all things Middle Earth, then a stay at The Hobbit Motel is sure to appeal. Numerous scenes in the "Lord of the Rings" movie trilogy were filmed in New Zealand's dramatic landscapes, and this lodging can be considered a lasting tribute to that experience. Replicating rabbit holes, the guest rooms are built into the side of a hill. Each of the two units has round doors and windows and specially designed furniture, and can accommodate up to six people.
