Aïoli's is a fun, casual little place with a terra-cotta tile floor and just ten tables, located in the same shopping center as the well-known Merriman's restaurant. The lunch menu features great made-on-the-spot sandwiches with homemade breads. Tired of processed turkey? Aïoli's roasts its own birds. The dinner menu on Fridays and Saturdays changes every weekend. Inventive entrées might include herb-crusted prime rib with local corn, mahi mahi sealed in rice paper with spinach and garlic then pan-seared, or black-bean-and-goat-cheese enchiladas. You can bring your wine and there's no corkage fee.
