THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Al Dente Cafe & Lounge Restaurant Review:

Al Dente has some good things going for it, but it takes a lot more than baked clams, bruschetta and a Caesar salad to move our cheese. Still, there are pleasing enough options like thinly sliced eggplant stuffed with raisins and pine nuts in zingy red wine vinegar-caper sauce, crab cakes and mini Kobe beef burgers. The lounge part of this restaurant has impact, considering the vast bar that takes up most of the first floor dining room (there are three levels in all, but it seems that everything that is going to happen happens on the first floor). Also, there is a Bottle Service option available, which means you can order the whole bottle of vodka, Cognac or Scotch. On the other hand, the wine list is an afterthought.
