Chef Giuseppe Ferrara worked right next door at Prima Trattoria for seven years and through pure chance found a little spot of his own. Here Ferrara offers diners a chance to taste the dishes of his home region, Amalfi. Start with the fritto misto of fried shrimp, smelt and calamari with a pesto dipping sauce. Every night there is a risotto; Ferrara makes a wonderful one with fresh porcini mushrooms. The lamb shank osso buco-style with polenta is also good. Have the bombe for dessert, either lemon or chocolate.
