Andria's Seafood Restaurant & Market Restaurant Review

: Most harbors have a place like this, a seafood eatery with a long history and a local story. Since 1982, Andria’s has been the go-to restaurant in Ventura Harbor for casual fare like fish ‘n’ chips --- here, the house version is made with the firm, white meat of angel shark --- and the catch of the day, grilled simply and served with rice, bread and a choice of pasta, salad or coleslaw. Owner Michael Wagner started his business as a seafood processor and distributor; Andria’s (named for his daughter) maintains relationships with local fishermen and has an affixed seafood market where, depending on the season, you may find fresh halibut, white sea bass, yellowtail, salmon or local lobster. Outdoor tables overlook a postcard scene of towering boat masts backdropped by the rolling hills of Ventura. Expect a line out the door most days, particularly during the lunch hour.
