THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lee Roy Selmon's Restaurant Review:

The late Lee Roy Selmon, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and a National Football League Hall of Famer, brought his family recipes to the big time, with an emphasis on home-cooking-type dishes such as meatloaf and fried chicken. Décor extends a sports theme with the trophy room, a sports bar with giant-screen TVs and a radio broadcast booth for local radio personalities to conduct interviews. The menu occasionally offers a new entrée but consistently features names like Hall of Fame Burger. Also popular as an appetizer or entrée is the Selmon Brothers Wings, slow-smoked and grilled with a spicy Oklahoma sauce. Try the Kickin' Beef Brisket quesadillas or one of the other starters under Salads & Pro-Bowls. The latter offers a fine Mama Selmon's Cajun gumbo, along with Mama's meatloaf and Selmon's Sweet Heat fried chicken (seasoned and grilled chicken breast on smashed potatoes, smothered in maple bacon crumbs, creamed corn, cheddar, sour cream and sliced tomatoes). There's even an extensive gluten-free menu. For dessert, we recommend the Georgia peach cobbler. Other locations.
