Brio Tuscan Grille Restaurant Review:
Brio may have a Las Vegas Boulevard address, but once inside you'll find none of the pretension associated with dining on the Strip. The dining room has high ceilings with white fabric billowing across, creating a rustic atmosphere meant to immerse you in an ambience reminiscent of Tuscany. The starter of “quattro” bruschetta allows the sampling of several varieties, including roasted red pepper and mozzarella and sliced steak with pungent Gorgonzola, arugula, fennel, tomato and Italian dressing. The Tuscany region is known for its steaks, and Brio does them justice, especially with the bistecca alla Fiorentina, a nicely seasoned strip steak cooked to your liking. Pastas are familiar, but done well. Desserts include mini dolce, or small espresso cups filled with your favorite Italian confections, including tiramisu. The wine list is decently priced with a number of fine choices by the glass.
