Burapa Thai Classic Restaurant Review:
Burapa is darkly romantic and offers an extensive menu that is not-so-classical Thai: Wonder Chicken and Sunny Tilapia are all Westernized concepts. Yet if you pour over the possibilities, you’ll find a few gems that are standards. As for noodles, the pad see ew has the right flavor and texture, though the kitchen skimps on using the traditional Chinese broccoli. Appetizers of shrimp cake and taro spring rolls are pleasing, and the Bangkok Beef comes as thick knife-worthy slices of meat. It is nice to see that effort is made to please children, with three entrées that appear quite kid-friendly. Also located at 6448 Trading Square, Haymarket, 703-753-0999.
