THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe East Meets West Restaurant Review:
What do you get when a Korean chef who trained in Italian and Japanese kitchens works side-by-side with a talented sushi chef? You get East Meets West, where the staff describes the culinary style as Eurasian Fusion Food. No matter what you call it, Chef Jason Lees food is good. Emphasis is placed on presentation, a part of the Japanese influence, making dishes like the seafood sushi appetizer as appealing to the eye as to the taste buds. The predominantly Californian wine list is well-chosen to match the cuisines complex flavors, like the stuffed game hen perfumed with ginseng and charred shrimp with truffle oil and salsa.
