Emphasis is placed on presentation, a part of the Japanese influence, making dishes like the seafood sushi appetizer as appealing to the eye as to the taste buds. The predominantly Californian wine list is well-chosen to match the cuisine’s complex flavors, like the stuffed game hen perfumed with ginseng and charred shrimp with truffle oil and salsa.
