With a European caffe vibe, a few retro touches and bright colors thrown into the mix, Caffe Tlazo is the sort of place where you'll want to linger with friends. For breakfast, try the Italian eggs Benedict, house-made granola or tortillas wrapped around a selection of egg-y accoutrements. Midday, enjoy panini and deli-style sandwiches, such as the grilled chicken breast topped with guacamole, artichokes, provolone and organic leaf lettuce. Also worthy of consideration is the traditional Reuben and New Orleans-style muffaletta. Organic and fair trade products are used whenever possible for both food and drink, and there's a selection of hand-picked loose-leaf tea and small-batch coffee (try the mellow house blend). Freshly baked goodies include scones, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls and cookies.
