Ideally located with a lakeside view, this informal place has been transformed from deli to Persian restaurant with deli items as a sideline. And when the local Persian community cheers, we come. Best bets are the generously meaty kebabs (chicken or ground beef are terrific) served over a mound of delicate rice. However, you might want to sample other Persian entrées, including the zereshk polo and the baghali polo---both typical delicacies. Although the owner does add Western dishes for a broader appeal, stick with the kebabs, and wind up with one of the honey-drenched pastries for dessert. All this and a lakeside seat...what a treat.
