If you head to the Largo location, which is a counter-only eatery, you may find long lines at mealtimes. But the restaurant is that popular that folks don’t mind a wait to pick up the Buckwheat’s fried chicken or a Ma Pearl Cajun grilled pork chop. The choices go on and on, so be grateful you have time to deliberate on your meal. Unbeatable are the fried catfish tenders as starters, and if you are in the mood for more seafood, we suggest the crispy fried shrimp with a dipping sauce. All the desserts are made on the premises, but nothing can top the traditional banana cream pudding.
