Each Chin Chin is owned by a different individual, so while the basic menu is adopted by all of them, each may customize their offerings to some degree. This branch offers lamb and a few Thai dishes, such as basil chicken and some curries. The menu also keeps the vegetarian selections. For sharing, choose hot appetizers such as the salt-and-pepper calamari and the soft-shell crabs. The cold noodles with hot sesame sauce make a lively counterpoint to more mild dishes, adding another dimension to a meal. While much of the menu is typical of Chinese American fare, with kung pao this and that and moo shu (choose the filling), dishes often turn out quite tasty, although inconsistency can be an issue with some of the locations. Chef's specials include such unusual items as Taiwanese chicken (a casserole with vegetables in a hot pot). Beer and wine only are served here.
