THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Crave on Main Restaurant Review:
This unpretentious neighborhood spot is manned by ex-Four Seasons chef Wayne Martin. His contemporary menu features tried and true renditions with a twist, such as buttermilk fried chicken Cobb salad, popcorn shrimp with creamy chili sauce, or the poutine with truffle Parmesan frites and short rib jus. Main dishes are dependable takes on classics ranging from sun-dried tomato and basil meatloaf with green peppercorn sauce to rigatoni with beef short rib tomato ragoût and Pecorino. Daily brunch items, such as whole-wheat challah french toast and the Dungeness crab cake benny, may be enjoyed on a balmy day on the patio. The wine list is modest with a few select BC and California showings.
