The traditional Italian dishes at this charming restaurant include pizzas, pastas with a variety of sauce options---such as pesto, primavera, carbonara---and baked standbys like lasagna and manicotti, all prepared with Portland-style attention to what’s fresh, local and seasonal. The kitchen also cranks out some delightful traditional entrées like steak Marsala, chicken piccata and cioppino. The setting is cozy, service is efficient, and the food is consistently good. Gluten-free substitutions are available on request. For libations, there's a full cocktail list as well as a thoughtful selection of wines, including, appropriately, several Italian options.
