Dreamland's branches serve more side dishes than the founding location in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but the 'cue doesn't always measure up to the original, where meaty spare ribs are the focus. Atlanta fares pretty well, however. Three different pit masters rotate at this location. While the seasoning on the meat seems to rely on salt, the smoking is done correctly, leaving the meat tender but just a bit resistant to the bite (the vinegar-tangy sauce balances out the saltiness). The crisp coleslaw partners well with this 'cue. Other sides include baked beans and banana puddin'. Beer is the only alcohol served, but there's plenty of good iced tea.
