Inside this casual taverna, a handful of cozy tables are topped with fresh flowers, joined by candles at dinner. Local artists’ work adorns the walls in an ever-changing display. Music plays softly in the background and the food is a soulful blend of Greek and Mediterranean. We like it all. Weekend breakfast dishes are stunning, especially the kitchen's take on eggs Benedict, Gouda served atop potato pancakes with a tomato sauce and hollandaise. At dinner, we always eat too much of the creamy tzatziki laced with fresh dill, which comes surrounded by tomatoes, olives, cucumbers and hot pita. Ravioli is generously portioned as well, but lightly sauced with a rich herby chicken broth and some shredded Romano cheese. You’ll find saffron-scented chicken stew served with aïoli and skewered and grilled lamb marinated in garlic and rosemary. Salads are vibrant, fresh and pretty, and don't skip dessert.
