Considering that the name of the place includes the word steaks, ordering one here is practically a requirement. Eli’s does nicely by its other dishes as well---salmon and shrimp de Jonghe, for example. And the potato pancakes are to die for. Since Eli’s is famous for its cheesecakes, which are distributed nationwide, you really must order one or more slices (a dozen varieties are offered) for a meal-ending treat.
